Music in High SchoolEver since deciding to play the clarinet in fourth grade, music has held a huge impact on my life. When in High School, I participated in the wind ensemble, solo and ensemble contests, pit orchestra, and marching band. I may not be as actively involved in the music program in college, but it is still important to me!

Nourish International - a club that worked to fund raise money for a girls school in Nigeria.
Nykerk - a Hope only singing ensemble competition that I participated in my freshmen and sophomore year. I was an assistant coach my sophomore year and helped out with making props and directing warm ups.
My Freshmen year of College, I joined Alpha Gamma Phi. This sorority is local to Hope College only. I have held various positions in the four years I have been a part of this organization, including Vice President!

College HighlightsNashville Immersion trip - I participated in a Hope College sponsored immersion trip that went to Nashville, Tennessee. I worked with the homeless populations in various settings and learned a great deal about what they go through.
Alpha Phi Omega - participated in a variety of service events and went to weekly meetings to discuss opportunities to serve the community and Hope College.
